PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan 1 capable of setting an air blow out direction downward. SOLUTION: This electric fan comprises a motor 3 attached on a body 2, a centrifugal fan 5 attached on a rotary shaft 4 of the motor 3 and a guard 6 attached around the centrifugal fan 5, and is constructed with changing outer diameter of a blade 7 in an axial direction to suck air from an upper direction and blast air downward.
