PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which is a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a carbon fiber and a thermoplastic resin and not only retains the advantages of handleability and moldability as a molding material but also gives a molding improved in adhesion between the carbon fiber and the thermoplastic resin and excellent mechanical properties. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 0.1-10 wt.% compound having ether linkages in the molecule and having an amino group at least on a molecular terminal, 1-70 wt.% carbon fiber, and 20-98.9 wt.% thermoplastic resin having at least one type of functional groups selected from the group consisting of carboxy groups, acid anhydride groups, and epoxy groups.
