PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine inclination from a reference posture in plane view, shift amount from a reference position in the advancing/retracting direction of a placement body and shift amount in the longitudinal direction of a movement route from a reference position, in regard to an article supported by an article support part without restricting the type and shape of the article supported by the article support part as much as possible. SOLUTION: An article state detection sensor 44 is provided in the placement body 29 in the state of detecting a detected body 45 provided in an article 4 when the placement body 29 is protruded at the protruded side limit within a range of the advancement/retracting or in the vicinity of the limit. Based on the information detected by the article state detection sensor 44, an operation control means determines inclination from the reference posture in plane view, shift amount from the reference position in the advancing/retracting direction of the placement body 29 and shift amount in the longitudinal direction of a traveling rail from the reference position in regard to the article 4 supported by the article support part.
