PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sill blocking body device for an elevator capable of easily adjusting a clearance dimension between a car sill and a landing sill in each stop floor without using a spacer etc. in adjustment work performed to reduce the clearance dimension between the car sill and the landing sill as much as possible to avoid situations such as dropping of belongings of users and catching of wheels of wheelchairs etc. SOLUTION: On at least one of opposing side faces of the elevator car sill and the landing sill, a sill blocking body 3 mounted so that the width in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the sill is adjustable is provided.
