PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive steam trap in which a cleaning member arranged so as to be penetrated through a valve hole is not caught between a valve member and a valve seat member. SOLUTION: An inlet 2, a valve chest 4 and an outlet 3 are formed by a casing comprising a body 1 and a lid member 5. The valve seat member 7 having the valve hole 6 is arranged between the valve chest 4 and the outlet 5. A temperature controller element 8 comprising a wall member 10, a diaphragm member 13, an expansion medium 14 sealingly provided between both members and a valve member 15 connected to the valve seat member 7 side of the diaphragm 13 is arranged in the valve chest 4. An annular projection 25 is formed at the valve seat member 7 side of the valve member 15, and a valve surface 26 separating from and seating on the valve seat member 7 is formed on a distal end. A universal joint comprising a ball receiving member 22 fixed to the annular projection 25 and a ball member 23 rotatably fitted to the ball receiving member 22 is arranged in the annular projection 25 of the valve member 15. The cleaning member 24 penetrating through the valve hole 6 of the valve seat member 7 is connected to the ball member 23 of the universal joint. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
