The invention relates to producing bioactive substances and can be used for biotechnological production processes, in medicine and in the pharmacological industry, in particular to producing medicinal and diagnosis preparations from snake venom. The inventive method consists in carrying affinity chromatography on a column with Blue Sepharose FF carrier, in diluting a material fraction unconjugated with Blue Sepharose and in applying it to a column filled with a DEAE Sepharose FF anion exchanger, the unconjugated material being washed out from a sorbent, in passing a Tris HCl NaCl-containing buffer with a pH of 8.2 thoughthe column, in eluting phospholipase A<SUB>2 </SUB>from<SUB/>the sorbent with a step gradient of NaCl ionic strength. The albumin peak exhibiting phospholipase activity is collected, concentrated and is dried by lyophilising.
