<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently acquire a photograph image in a system for providing field information concerning a place with the use of the photograph image. <P>SOLUTION: In an information providing system, questions from the questioner terminals 1a, 1b include question items concerning time and place. Respondents 7a, 7b record the photograph images to be response information, add the items of the present position information and time information, and preserve them in a photo holder. When the photograph image information for response is transmitted, a position condition and a time condition from the question items are set as response conditions. The position information and time information included in the response information are compared with the position condition and time condition set from the question. It is determined whether the conidtions are satisfied or not. Only image files satisfying the conditions are extracted and transmitted to a service server 3.
