PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability with simple structure, concerning the structure of a hand-held type measuring device. SOLUTION: Assembling of a key top module 5 on an upper case 1 is performed by pivotally supporting a rocking shaft 55 by a bearing part 14 of the upper case 1, and by pressing and inserting two bosses 13 of the upper case 1 into two boss holes 53 of the key top module 5. In this case, in the state where the key top module 5 is assembled on the upper case 1 in this way, the upper surface of an operation key top 51 is arranged on a tapered part tilted downward toward the rear part of the upper case 1 approximately at the same height and approximately with the same inclination as the upper surface of the tapered part. The operation key top 51 rocks the rocking shaft 55 so that the rear part is moved downward as the rocking shaft 55 with a restoring force by an energizing force of a flexible part 54 corresponding to pushing-down operation by a user, and a projection 56 on an upper part for performing operation of a push switch is moved downward.
