PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt angle sensor having simple arithmetic processing and excellent in response. SOLUTION: The tilt angle sensor includes an acceleration sensor having at least first and second axes of sensitivity intersecting each other at right angles and selects first output signals on the first axis of sensitivity or second output signals on the second axis of sensitivity according to which region a tilt angle lies in to determine the tilt angle.
