PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensate collecting apparatus capable of reducing a thermal energy loss. SOLUTION: A condensate inflow port 8 of a condensate force-feeding member 4 is connected to the outlet side of steam use equipment 2 through a condensate collecting tank 3. A high pressure steam pipe 17 is connected to a high pressure operating fluid lead-in port 10 of the condensate force-feeding member 4. A pressure control valve 14 is connected to a high pressure operating fluid discharge port 11 of the condensate force-feeding member 4 through a discharge pipe 13. The set pressure value of the pressure control valve 14 is maintained in a high pressure state enough to allow a condensate to flow down to the condensate force-feeding member 4 from the condensate collecting tank 3. The amount of re-evaporated steam inside the condensate force-feeding member 4, discharged to the outside from the high pressure operating fluid discharge port 11 of the condensate force-feeding member 4 can thereby be reduced, and a steam loss, i.e., the thermal energy loss, can be reduced.
