PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer built-in ball valve device capable of removing a strainer from a ball valve element without using specific tool. SOLUTION: The strainer built-in ball valve device has a pair of insertion parts 24 capable of inserting the tip of a clipping tool 29 in the inner peripheral side as a retaining ring member 22 which fixes the strainer to the ball valve element 10. Elastic deformation in the diameter contracting direction by which the retaining ring member 22 comes out of the inner surface of a through passage 9 is performed by a move on the closing side of the tip of the usual clipping tool 29 inserted from a strainer inserting/removing opening part 15 into the insertion part 24, and thereby, the strainer 17 can be attached and detached without using the specific tool.
