<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate reproduction from a desired scene by referring to an event which has been data-broadcasted. <P>SOLUTION: A video recording section 21 for storing contents broadcasted on digital television causes a contents storage section 22 to store the content, and further causes the contents storage section 22 to store additional information in which an event transmitted in a data signal broadcasted together with a video signal and an audio signal is associated with a video signal transmitted closely to the event transmission.
