<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device exhibiting high usability in various user environments or in the industry. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with paper supply unit connecting sections 14a, 14b, 14c capable of mounting a paper supply unit 15 in the same shape at three places with different heights. Each of the respective paper supply unit connecting sections 14a, 14b, 14c is provided with a receiving section 142 with an opening 141 for receiving the paper supply unit 15. In order to make a paper passing passage from the paper supply unit 15 continuous with a second conveyance passage B when the paper supply unit 15 is inserted and connected through this receiving section 142, a third conveyance passage C composed of a conveyance roller or a guide is provided.
