<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-performance optical element by efficiently forming a fine structure grid having anti-reflection effect, on an optical surface and maintaining satisfactory optical performance (anti-reflection), and to obtain a scanning optical system using the optical element. <P>SOLUTION: The optical element B is made of an optical resin comprising an optical surface M having curvature, the fine structure grid (a) is formed by injection molding using a master plate (A) on the optical surface, and the fine structure grid has such a shape as to be vertically disposed in the normal direction of the optical surface. When the height of the fine structure grid measured from the optical surface in the normal direction is denoted as h, the length of a base of the fine structure grid in a plane formed by the optical axis and the normal of the optical surface is denoted as W and the angle formed by the direction when the original plate is separated from the optical element and the normal at the position where the fine structure grid of the optical surface is formed is denoted as θ, the optical element B satisfies the condition of h≤W/(2tanθ). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
