<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of detecting unauthorized operation performed to a storage medium during a power-saving mode by confirming validity of data in the removable storage medium in returning from the power-saving mode, and a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 10 which executes processing according to a content in the detachable storage medium 40 comprises: a storage means 94 which acquires verification data for verifying the validity of the content in the storage medium 40 before the state is transferred to a power supply mode where attachment/detachment of the storage medium 40 is not detectable, and stores the data as storage verification data 140 in storage means (24 and 26); and a verification means 94 which compares, when the device is changed to a state where the attachment/detachment of the storage medium is detectable, newly acquired verification data 160 with the storage verification data 140 read from the storage means (24 and 26) to verify the validity of the content in the storage medium 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
