<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display screen configuration device preventing a program from being complicated or the number of components from being increased when improving the function of a display screen of a computer. <P>SOLUTION: A screen component indicating a text field or the like and a function component for limiting a text input to the text field to only a numerical value, for example, are created, and the screen component and the function component are associated. When an event occurs on the display screen by the screen component, the function component applies processing according to the event, and uses the screen component for display to materialize a processing function of the display screen. Because the function component for the processing can be used when being associated with the screen component, there is no need to add a function in each the screen component even when using the same function in a plurality of the screen components, and only the association with the function component is required.
