<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying object removing device capable of removing a flying object such as a vinyl sheet brought into tight contact with and wound around a wire without damaging the wire. <P>SOLUTION: This flying object removing device 1 includes a self-traveling mechanism 2 and a cutting mechanism 3 jointed with the self-traveling mechanism part. The self-traveling mechanism 2 retains a battery 4 for power and travels on the wire W by remote operation. The cutting mechanism 3 has a body 30 and a pair of bar-shaped electric heating blades 5. The electric heating blades 5 are extended from the body 30 in a traveling direction symmetrically in right and left with respect to the center of an extension line of the wire W and disposed so that the top edge parts may approximate to the wire W. The base edge side of the electric heating blades 5 is jointed to a drive unit 31 on the body 30 to open/close the top edge side of the electric heating blades 5 in a right/left direction by remote operation. The electric heating blades 5 include a built-in electric heating line connected with the battery, thus melting down the thermal plastic resin flying object entangled around the wire during heating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
