PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid lubricant excellent in lubricating properties, having quick-drying properties, hardly causing influences on post-process and usable for processing at temperature below 0°C. SOLUTION: The lubricant is prepared by compounding 2-20 wt.% adjusting oil based on the gross weight into a base oil comprising paraffinic hydrocarbon. The adjusting oil comprises (a) a sulphur extreme-pressure agent, (b) a rust-preventing agent and (c) a calcium-based additive and satisfies all of the following condition: the sulphur content of the (a) component is 0.5-20 wt.% based on the gross weight of the adjusting oil, the content of the (b) component is 0.1-15 wt.% based on the gross weight of the adjusting oil, and the calcium content of the (c) component is 0.1-15 wt.% based on the gross weight of the adjusting oil.
