PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing deviation from a lane improved in control accuracy of the steering auxiliary torque. SOLUTION: A curve recognition determining means is provided to determine whether it is a curve recognition condition that a driver recognizes a curve in front of one's own vehicle or not, and in the case wherein the curve recognition determining means determines the curve recognition condition, the steering auxiliary torque is increased in comparison with the case wherein the curve recognition condition is not determined. Steering auxiliary torque is accurately given by changing quantity of the steering auxiliary torque in response to condition that the driver recognizes a curve. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
