PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex operation type input device capable of being mounted as a module article and easily aiming at downsizing. SOLUTION: A stator part 13 supports in free rotation a rotor part 12 made by fitting a sliding piece 15 to a cylindrical body 14 capable of integrally rotating with retaining cases 6, 7 to structure a rotary encoder 3, and an operating body 1 is held in free sliding by the retaining cases 6, 7. At a hollow part inside the rotor part 12, a switching unit 4 is arranged, with its base 20 held and fixed by the stator part 13. The switching unit 4 is provided with a slide transmission member 25 fitting in a rotary shaft part 1a of the operating body 1 to a central opening 25a in free rotation and a plurality of push switches 21 for detecting a sliding operation, and contact switching of the push switches 21 is carried out by the slide transmission member 25 driven by the rotary shaft part 1a to slide.
