PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring tool used in processing the inside diameter of a deep hole with a large diameter, which is provided with a first cutting edge and a second cutting edge, and continuously performs a semi-finish with the second cutting edge and a finish with the first cutting edge. SOLUTION: This boring tool provided with the first cutting edge 2 for processing an inside diameter on the main processing portion 6 of the tool body is provided with a sub-processing portion 8 on the tip side of the tool body from the main processing portion 6. The sub-processing portion 8 is equipped with the second cutting edge 11 which processes the inside diameter of a hole processed by the first cutting edge ahead of the first cutting edge.
