PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved pinball game machine that can early detect an abnormal motion of a payout device to effectively prevent the payout device from paying too much. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine includes: a payout device structured to sequentially discharge game balls from the right and left game ball pathways; and a prize ball count switch provided for each of the ball pathways, wherein a payout error process (ST60) that can obtain the continuous frequency of the game ball the prize ball count switch continuously detects is provided to notify an error when the continuous frequency reaches the predetermined value 25.
