PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella provided with a light emitter which emits light by being energized at a grip part, wherein the light emission can surely be turned off without performing any special operation and without forgetting to turn it off, after use. SOLUTION: As a switch for turning energizing on/off, a pair of electrode terminals 41a and 41b are separately provided on the external surface of the grip part 1, and the terminals are energized when the hand H of a person holding up the umbrella directly touches both electrode terminals 41a and 41b and both electrode terminals are electrically connected. Since the terminals are turned off when the hand H is removed from the electrode terminals 41a and 41b, turning-off is not forgotten. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
