<p>Compositions suitable for use as site-specific biological vectors are provided and comprise substantially uniformly sized liposomes having very narrow size distributions. In particular, the compositions comprise a collection of liposomes sufficient in quantity to be administered as a pharmaceutical, wherein the liposomes have a mean outer diameter, D, of from 20nm to 1000nm, and at least 95% of the liposomes have an outer diameter of from 0.97D to 1.03D. Collections of liposomes with even narrower size distributions are also provided.</p> |
