<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform information providing only in a section desired by a passenger, terminate the information providing after a train passed through the section, and delete registration information of the passenger when the information providing is terminated. <P>SOLUTION: The passenger holds, when he/she desires to receive information providing, a cellular phone 200 carried thereby over a communication terminal 10 to transmit a mail address and information for a destination to an information server 400. The information server 400 receives the mail address and destination information designated by the passenger from the communication terminal 100 and registers them. The information server 400 acquires information for a current location of a train 991 from an in-train device 300 periodically or when the train 991 arrives at a station. The server 400 determines whether the train 991 passed through the destination designated by the passenger or not, and transmits information to the mail address when the train 991 does not pass through the destination, and deletes the registered mail address and destination information when the train 991 passed through the destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
