<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact (thin) lighting system capable of efficiently condensing light from a light source, such as an LED. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system comprises: a light source 1; reflection transmission surfaces 4d, 4e that reflect luminous flux entering at a specific angle in luminous flux from the light source to a light irradiation side, and transmit light entering at an angle other than the specific angle; and an irradiation reflection surface 4f for reflecting the luminous flux through the reflection transmission surface to the light irradiation side. Further, a luminous flux dividing section 4A for dividing divergent luminous flux from the light source into luminous flux entering the reflection transmission surface at a specific angle and luminous flux entering the reflection transmission surface at an angle other than the specific angle between the light source and the reflection transmission surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
