PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which can trap insects by single units. SOLUTION: The lighting device 2A for irradiating white light irradiated from a fluorescent lamp 3, while reducing the energy in a wavelength region, having insect light-trapping effect among the white light with a filter 4, is such that by disposing a trapping portion 5 for trapping insects which fly toward the fluorescent lamp 3. Since the insects which fly toward the fluorescent lamp 3 can be trapped with the trapping portion 5, insects flying into a chamber 1 can, for example, be trapped merely with the lighting device 2A, without having to separately dispose a special device.
