PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of preventing the saturation of W (white) signals obtained from W pixels and improving sensitivity and an S/N by signal processing using the W signals. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus is provided with a pixel part 11 where cells CE for storing signal charges obtained by photoelectrically converting light made incident on a photodiode PD and outputting a voltage corresponding to the stored signal charge are two-dimensionally arranged in rows and columns on a semiconductor substrate, and filters of four colors W, R, G and B are respectively arranged on the cells. Analog signals outputted from the W pixel, R pixel, G pixel and B pixel are converted to digital signals by an ADC 13 and W, R, G and B signals are respectively outputted. The saturation signal amount of the W signals is controlled by a saturation signal amount control circuit. Then, the R, G and B signals corrected by a signal generation circuit 32 using the W signals and the R, G and B signals outputted from an AD conversion circuit are outputted.
