PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic member of a semiconductive polymer for an actuator, excellent in the voltage dependence and environmental dependence of the electrical resistance. SOLUTION: The elastic member of a semiconductive polymer for an actuator, comprises a conductive composition containing a conductive polymer and a binder polymer. The conductive polymer has a surfactant structure obtained by chemically oxidatively polymerizing its raw monomer with an oxidizing agent in the presence of a surfactant, and is dispersed or in compatibility with the binder polymer. The elastic member of a semiconductive polymer satisfies the following characteristics: (A) the variation between the electrical resistance at an applied voltage of 1 V and the electrical resistance at an applied voltage of 133 V under the environment of 25°C and 50%RH, is 1.34 digits or smaller; (B) the variation between the electrical resistance at an applied voltage of 10 V under the environment of 15°C and 10%RH, and the electrical resistance at an applied voltage of 10 V under the environment of 35°C and 85%RH, is 0.4 digit or smaller; and (C) the electrical resistance at 100% elongation is 1.3 digits or smaller of the electrical resistance at non-elongation.
