PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a focal position deviation after focusing is finished. SOLUTION: After adjusting a diopter difference, a focusing knob 40 is pushed into so as to engage a spur gear 56 with an internal gear 58. The focusing knob 40 is rotated to move a focusing lens frame 13 in directions of optical axes L1 and L2, then, the focusing of left and right telephoto optical systems is performed. Thereafter, the focusing knob 40 is pulled out up to a position to release the engaged state of the spur gear 56 with the internal gear 58. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
