PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel whose length in the optical axis direction can be made shorter in a non-photographing state. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a focus motor 22; a second group frame made movable from the non-photographing state to a photographing state position in the optical axis direction; a feed screw member 15 that moves in the optical axis direction cooperatively with the movement of the second group frame, also, that receives a driving force from the focus motor 22 and transmits the driving force to a third group frame 11 as a moving frame other than the second group frame; and the third group frame 11 that is moved in the optical axis direction by the driving force of the feed screw member 15, and also, moved in the optical axis direction together with the feed screw member 15 cooperatively with the movement of the feed screw member 15 in the optical axis direction.
