PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner capable of providing a halftone image of stable transmission density and reflection density even when a prolonged evaluation test is conducted. SOLUTION: The toner is a nonmagnetic toner having toner particles obtained by an aggregation method. The toner contains a release agent and has a fusion enthalpyΔH of 5.0-20.0 J/g, an integrated value of specific heat at 20-100°C of 60.0-120.0 J/g and a difference between the two extreme values of specific heat at 20-100°C of 0.5-4.0 J/gK. The toner particles satisfy the relational expressions: 0.930≤R1≤0.965 and 0.970≤R2≤0.990, wherein R1 represents an average circularity of a particle assemblage of 10% particle size to 90% particle size, and R2 represents an average circularity of a particle assemblage of≥90% particle size.
