PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an adverse effect on an engine due to in-availability of desired air fuel ratio. SOLUTION: An engine ECU executes a program including steps of: S110 detecting air fuel ratio of the engine based on signal sent from an A/F sensor; S120 establishing feed back compensation quantity of fuel injection quantity based on detected air fuel ratio; and S150 limiting throttle opening TA if the feed back compensation quantity is larger than a threshold A (Yes in S140).
