PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet shutter which enables a person to escape in a short period of time by partially opening a curtain itself by an artificial manipulation, without the need for a scaffold such as a tripod, a cutting tool, etc., when an emergency situation occurs due to a power failure etc. in the fully-closed state of the curtain, and which enables an operation origin position of the curtain to be automatically corrected only by making the curtain make an ascending motion after the release of the emergency situation. SOLUTION: This sheet shutter is equipped with a pair of right and left side rails 1, a sheet-like curtain 4 which ascends/descends between the side rails 1 and which opens/closes a section between them, and a driving means 5 for driving the curtain 4 so as to lift/lower it. The sheet shutter comprises: an opening/closing portion 17 for emergency escape, which is provided on the curtain 4; an opening operation member 18 which is provided with a protrusion 18a for correcting the operation origin position of the curtain 4, so that the operation of opening the opening/closing portion 17 can be performed; and an upper-limit stopper 19 which is arranged in the opening upper-limit position of the curtain 4, so as to abut on the protrusion 18a of the opening operation member 18 in the correction of the operation origin position of the curtain 4.
