The tensioning device (1) and damping device (9) has a base part (2) and a swiveling arm (6). A spring unit (8) is inserted between the swiveling arm and base part, which releases directed torque in swiveling direction of the swiveling arm. The bolt (4) of the pivot bearing (13) is fitted and fixed in form fit manner to create joining assembly (14) into a hole (16) of the base part or the swiveling arm. The components are manufactured from same or different materials. The bolt or piston made from steel is combined with a base part, swiveling arm or connection eye made from aluminum.
