<p>A ceiling-mounted air conditioner in which labor for cleaning a filter provided at a suction opening in the lower surface of a casing is reduced. The air conditioner (1) is mountable on the ceiling of a room to be air conditioned and has the casing (2) having the suction opening (41) formed in the lower surface of the casing, the filter (44) provided at the suction opening (41), a cleaning mechanism (9) for removing dust from the filter (44) where the dust is collected, and a dust box (11) provided at the lower part of the casing (2) and containing the dust removed by the cleaning mechanism (9). A nozzle insertion opening (13) is downwardly formed in the dust box (11), and a nozzle (20) of a cleaner can be inserted in the nozzle insertion opening (13).</p> |
