<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which reduces auxiliary machinery noise affecting performance played on an electronic instrument without design change. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 30 controls an operating parameter of an auxiliary machinery of a fuel cell unit 20 in accordance with the volume of music played on an electronic instrument 50, the auxiliary machinery including an air pump 22, a fuel pump 23, and a cooling fan 25. When the electronic instrument 50 plays music at loud sound and consumes a large amount of electric power, the speed of an electric motor driving the auxiliary machinery increases, thereby causing higher noise. When music is played at high volume, high noise produced by the auxiliary machinery does not affect the musical performance. In contrast, when the electronic instrument 50 plays music at low volume and consumes a low amount of electric power, the auxiliary machinery is limited in operation and generates lower noise. Therefore, the electric power generated by the fuel cell unit 20 and noise generated by the auxiliary machinery varies in accordance with power required by the electronic instrument 50, that is, the volume of music played on the electronic instrument 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
