<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a liquid crystal display (LCD) 16 in a game machine. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine has the LCD 16 for the presentation display. Air holes for cooling are bored on the back surface of the LCD 16, and a resin cover 100 is mounted to cover the back surface of the LCD 16. A fan 110 is juxtaposed to the LCD 16 on the cover 100, and a square-shaped wall surface is formed on the cover 100 to surround the fan 110 and the back surface of the LCD 16. With this structure, a duct is configured of an attaching member of the fan 110, the back surface and the wall surface of the LCD 16, and therefore, the air-cooling mechanism of the LCD 16 can be composed without increasing the thickness of the device. By driving the fan 110 to suck air in the duct to be discharged outside, the airflow is generated inside the duct and the LCD 16 can be cooled with air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
