PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing the total number of digital-analog converters included in a data driving section less than the total number of data lines while keeping high picture quality of a display panel. SOLUTION: In the display device, pixel columns are divided into groups each having at least two columns. A data driving unit applies data voltages to the pixel columns in each group in the same sequence for every horizontal scanning period in the same frame, while inverts the sequence in two consecutive frames. Otherwise, the data driving unit may change, for each frame, the pixel column where the data voltage is first applied in the pixel columns of each group, and in particular, may shift each for one column.
