PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow toner and a magenta toner that are superior in any of low-temperature fixability, storage stability and charge stability, a method for manufacturing those toners, and to provide a color image forming method that uses these toners. SOLUTION: The yellow toner or magenta toner includes a crystalline polyester, an amorphous polyester, a yellow colorant or magenta colorant, and a copper complex compound, wherein the content of the copper complex compound is 0.05-1.5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. in total, of the crystalline polyester and amorphous polyester.
