PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning-type laser microscope, allowing a galvanoscanner to fast scan over a wide range and capable of observing a wide range, by efficiently radiating the heat generated in the galvano-scanner. SOLUTION: The scanning type laser microscope 1 includes scanning means 21, 21' which two-dimensionally scan a laser beam from a laser light source 2, and a light-shielding member 4 covering the scanning means 21, 21', and further, has heat radiating means 25, 25' radiating the heat generated by the scanning means 21, 21' into a space outside the light-shielding member.
