PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a person who has troubles in knees to easily stand up with a hand as an assist means without interfering with a table when standing up. SOLUTION: The chair includes: a chair body 5 provided with front, back, left and right leg parts 8 and 9, a seat plate support plate 13 fixed between the left and right leg parts, backrest frame parts 11 formed in a raised shape on the back left and right leg parts 9, and a crossbar part 14 formed between the upper parts of the left and right backrest frame parts 11 and 11; and a seat part 6 in which a backrest part 6b is formed in a raised shape at the back part of a seat plate part 6a.
