PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a frame suitable for oil paintings and Japanese paintings, etc., at a low cost and to excellently hang even a heavy exhibited object. SOLUTION: The thickness adjuster 31 fixed to the back surface of the frame body 21 of an oil painting frame 11 for housing and holding a thick exhibited object X is formed in a frame shape with an extraction part by batch molding by injection molding. On the thickness adjuster 31, a part (hanging part 38) for hooking a hanging cord for hanging the oil painting frame 11 or the like is directly or indirectly formed. Since the thickness adjuster 31 is formed by injection molding, a cross-sectional shape as if flat parts are combined can be attained and materials to be used can be reduced. Since the part for hooking the hanging cord or the like can be easily obtained differently from the case of a thickness adjuster in a solid structure, costs can be suppressed and the highly strong hooking part from which even a heavy object can be hung can be obtained as well.
