PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor enabling sure attachment of a stator core to a hermetic vessel while preventing deformation of the stator core due to attachment to the hermetic vessel, improving motor efficiency and reducing noise and vibration. SOLUTION: An irregular structure 70 repeating irregularity in a circumference direction is provided on an inner circumference surface 15 of the hermetic vessel 1. The irregular structure 70 is formed with corresponding to a shape of an outer circumference surface 515 of the stator core 510 and is attached on the outer circumference surface 515 of the stator core 510.
