摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust direction control device and a thrust direction control method for a movable nozzle capable of contributing reduction of cost, miniaturization and reduction of weight of the device whole body and materializing improving maintainability and reliability. SOLUTION: This device is provided with: an electric actuator 10 provided with a motor 11, a ball screw 12 converting rotation of the motor 11 to linear motion, a resolver 13 detecting rotation angle of a ball screw 12 and arranged at two sections in a circumferential direction with 90°interval between the movable nozzle 2 and a joint holder 3 in a rocket motor 1 side; a position detector 20 for detecting nozzle rudder angle arranged at a section symmetrical to the electric actuator 10 with respect to a machine axis L; and a control part 30 correcting rudder angle error of the movable nozzle 2 based on integration value of rotation angle of the ball screw 12 detected by the resolver 13 of the electric actuator 10 and average value of nozzle rudder angle detected by the position sensor 20 positioned at the section symmetrical to the electric actuator 10 with respect to the machine axis L.
