<p>The double-fire mechanism is mounted inside the mechanisms casing of an automatic firearm instead of the retention element locking means, with the function of firing two consecutive shots when the trigger is pulled just once, and mainly comprises closure assembly detection means able to detect when the closure assembly passes a certain point in the channel of the mechanisms casing; means for locking the retention tooth, connected directly or indirectly to the detection means, able to lock or unlock the retention tooth according to the signal received from the detection means; and optionally means for transmitting the signal detected by the detection means to the retention tooth locking means.</p> |
