<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system having excellent efficiency by fully utilizing the respective features of a mobile phone with a GPS function and an adjacent information distribution unit, and by mutually complementing in cooperation with each other. <P>SOLUTION: As an embodiment shown in Fig. 2, by making contact from mobile phones 1, 2 located in a particular area 1 to a server 6 using GPS, the installed places of adjacent information distribution units 2, 3 installed in the vicinity of the server 6 are transmitted, so that information of the adjacent information distribution units can be read by moving thereto. Thus, using the adjacent information distribution units, the accurate location information of the installed places can be known. Further, by transmitting the location information to the server using the mobile phones, the same detailed information of buildings and shops as that the adjacent information distribution units has can be also obtained by the mobile phones. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
