<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state monitoring device capable of presenting appropriate information for a subject when the subject gets exercise for relieving such symptoms as obesity or stress characteristic to the present day. <P>SOLUTION: The state monitoring device comprises a body moisture quantity calculating means for calculating the quantity of body moisture of the subject between two electrodes based on electric signals measured by applying voltage between the two electrodes which can be attached to the subject; a pulse rate calculating means for calculating the pulse rate based on the electric signals; a fluctuation degree calculating means for calculating the degree of fluctuation of the heart beat of the subject by extracting the heartbeat interval per beat of the subject and analyzing the time zone based on the electric signal; a consumed calorie calculating means for calculating the calorie consumed by the subject based on the pulse rate; and a display means for displaying the calculated quantity of body moisture, degree of fluctuation, and consumed calorie. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
