<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which heat transfer to an optical system is suppressed while improving the strength of a frame. <P>SOLUTION: The laser scanner unit (optical scanner) U is provided with: a box type frame 2; a polygon mirror 3 disposed at substantially central part of the frame 2; and optical systems 7 which are disposed on both sides of the polygon mirror 3 in the right and left direction and inside the frame 2, respectively. Further, a seventh space part R7 is formed which is concave toward the inside of the frame 2 at the substantially central part of the lower face 21 of the frame 2, the polygon mirror 3 is arranged in the seventh space part R7, and openings 31e and 32e for emitting light are formed on both side faces in the right and left direction of the seventh space part R7, for guiding light from the polygon mirror 3 to respective optical systems 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
