CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH LOCKUP CLUTCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect drive force requirement by motion control to perform arbitration, and to calculate a desirable requirement drive force, when traveling in such a state that a lockup clutch is engaged.

SOLUTION: An ECU (Electronic Control Unit) executes a program including: a step (S1000) for detecting an accelerator opening TA; a step (S1100) for detecting vehicle velocity V; a step (S1300) for calculating a basic requirement drive force Fdrv(base) by a driver from a driver model; and a step (S1700) for adding the basic requirement drive force Fdrv(base) to a value obtained by multiplying a vehicle attitude control requirement drive force Fdrv(veh) by a correction gain Gv calculated such that a reflection degree of the vehicle attitude control requirement drive force becomes small when a deceleration is large when the lockup clutch is completely engaged (YES at S1400) to calculate the requirement drive force Fdrv.
